Why do I think eggs are superfoods

Boiled egg

So as I was doing research for the best foods with the most nutritional value, contrasting them with the calories; in other words " nutrient dense foods," that can fill me really fast and still get to my calorie goals so that I could achieve my fitness goals eating foods that I like and they are healthy for body, since I hated to go to the grocery store and being so undesiceve with what I wanted at the time and still follow my calory goals.

So as I did my research, I discovered that eggs, specifically 6 eggs per day, were the best breakfast idea that covered most of my nutritional needs for the day.

This is why eggs are important

  • High protein absorption of 97%

  • Contains HDL Cholesterol

  • Vitamin A

  • Vitamin D

  • Most vitamins B complex

  • Choline

  • Calcium

  • Iron

  • Magnesium

  • Potasium

  • Zinc

  • Manganese

  • Selenium

  • Biotin

How to eat the egg for optimal nutritional absorption

Here is the thing, I recommend based on the literature I read, eat the egg yolk raw for biotin absorption, and cook the egg whites separately, since that is where most of the protein is concentrated, I use them as a replacement for rice on my diet, since I am on an animal-based diet.

If you are worried about fats, another way to cook the eggs would be to boil them or do poached eggs for maximum nutrition absorption.

Now, frying the eggs is also an option, but then you have to be careful not to overcook them; preferably, cook them sunny-side up or over easy.
